Joe Killian was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania Joe began his career as a corporate recruiter and training and development specialist. He then received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business. 

Upon completing his MBA, Joe embarked on a successful venture as a professional speaker, trainer, consultant, and coach for clients such as Merrill Lynch, Verizon, Xerox, Alcoa, United Way, US Attorney’s Office and Promotional Products Association International. Sensing God’s call, Joe went back to school, completing a Master of Arts in Religious Education at Duquesne University. Joe worked as a Director of Religious Education in the Pittsburgh and Greensburg Dioceses of the Catholic Church for more than ten years. 

Now, through his ministry, Joe provides guidance to those seeking to enhance their journey with God. He does so as an author, speaker, retreat leader and coach. Joe is married to Maria, his best friend and wife of over thirty-five years. They reside in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, where they raised three wonderful children, Joey, Sarah, and Joshua and are proud first-time grandparents of Lucy Jo!
